Only a 30 min flight from Dar es Salaam!
Located 25 kilometers from the mainland and 130 kilometers from Dar es Salaam, Mafia Island is accessible by a
35-minute flight or a 45-minute flight from Zanzibar and the Selous Game Reserve.
You can also come by ferry, however the travel is much longer than by flight and not guaranteed neither as sometimes
the ferries do not run.

When arrived on the island there are several kind of transports to get to Kanga Beach Paradise, which is located 1h
drive from Kilindoni. Please tell us your preference of transport and we'll organize for you:
Bajaji/Tuktuk Taxi or a minibus / also for Boda Boda/motorbike (1 person each) - self-drive by motorbike per day
Kanga Beach Paradise also has a beautiful restaurant to enjoy delicious Swahili and international food - you can
also reserve a table in advance by phone if you like!! Recommendable.
